擬聲詞的常見三種翻譯處理方法：
譯為漢語對應的擬聲詞，有的譯為獨詞句，有的譯為動詞或名詞的輔助成分。

有時可以將英文的擬聲詞譯為漢語中較為抽象的“..........的叫，...........聲”，有的則直敘其動作。

為增加效果，即使英文未出現擬聲詞，翻譯時添加擬聲詞。
